Without this enormous voluntary support, performances could not continue as they do at the Globe.
All the Stewards at Shakespeare's Globe are volunteers. Stewards perform a vital role as the public face of Shakespeare's Globe during our performances and events, ensuring that our patrons have a positive, enjoyable and safe experience.
We always love hearing from people of all walks of life who would like to become a part of the team and volunteer with us as a Steward. We run regular recruitment periods throughout the year, which are preceded with a Volunteer Open Day or Evening where you can meet our current Stewards and speak to our Volunteer Manager, Lotty Englishby and our Volunteer Co-ordinator Matt Hatt. If you would like to apply, or find out more information about our Volunteering Programme and upcoming Open Days then please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org An application form, role description and equal opportunities form can be found downloaded from the tab on the right hand side of this page.
There are many reasons to volunteer with us; some people volunteer to try something new, or gain new skills, others enjoy having the chance to meet new people, be part of a supportive team, or to further their interest in theatre and the Arts. Whatever your reason for volunteering we would love to meet you!
Many thanks for your interest in volunteering with us at Shakespeare’s Globe.
