Recruitment is now open for the 2019 Summer Season!

“Using my time to give something back and at the same time enjoying myself must be the best possible way to volunteer.” —Roger, Volunteer Steward

Throughout the Summer Season, our team of 600 volunteer stewards act as the public face of Shakespeare’s Globe, welcoming patrons to our numerous performances and events. We are looking for people who can help us share the magic of theatre with our audiences, as well as keeping our visitors safe and happy.

“The atmosphere at the Globe is unique: joyous and electrifying!” —Elle, Volunteer Steward

"The Globe has become my second home. I have learned so much and met so many great people – it's no wonder why the volunteers keep coming back!" —Es, Volunteer Steward
