Written by: William Shakespeare
Liam Brennon returned to the Globe to play Angelo in the 2004 production of Measure For Measure. This was Liam's fourth season at Shakespeare's Globe, previously playing Henry Bolingbroke in Richard II and the titular role in Edward II. During the 2002 season he played Orsino in Twelfth Night, and in 2001 he played Macduff in Macbeth.
In his final blog post, Liam discusses how rehearsals have progressed, his opinions on another portrayal of Angelo, and how his own interpretation of the part has grown.
In his second blog post, Liam discusses learning his lines during breaks in rehearsals, his thoughts about playing a 'baddie', and an impromptu rehearsal under the Millennium Bridge!
This is Liam's first blog post. This week he discusses returning to the Globe for his fourth season, his reaction to receiving the part of Angelo and his preparation for the role, and the beginning of the rehearsal process.
