Niall is a writer, comedian, actor and improviser.

Previous theatre includes: Annie Get Your GunPublic Enemy (Young Vic); Lifegame (Improbable Theatre, RNT/tour); The Patriotic Traitor (Park Theatre); Never Try This at Home (Told By An Idiot), and Tristan & Yseult (Kneehigh Theatre – US tour).

Writing includes: the radio plays Hungarian Birdsong and Tunnel Vision for BBC Radio 4; two series of Losers for BBC Radio 4; three series of Confessions for BBC1; the weekly Robbo column for BBC Radio 5 Live’s The Treatment, and the BBC Sport Online website; Barking for Channel 4. He has written poetry and prose for BBC Radio 3’s The Verb and Nightwaves. He has been a guest writer/performer on various radio panel shows including Hold the Back Page, The Motion Show and Excess Baggage. Niall’s improvised work has seen him appear on Whose Line Is It Anyway? and regularly on stage with the Comedy Store Players, Paul Merton’s Impro Chums, Impropera and Ross Noble.
