"As fate would have it, I think Caroline and I were both on the same page from the get go really. From my first audition, I absolutely fell in love with her ability to communicate her ideas. She very much speaks a language I understand..."
As rehearsals get underway, Ellora shares some insights from the rehearsal room and before that during the audition process.
"I remember watching it at the National and being quite surprised by the play. There was a very strong female lead...there was a sexual energy that she had which was curious to me, because of the time it was written. Was that acceptable? Wasn’t that acceptable?"
In her first production for Shakespeare's Globe, Ellora talks to us about her previous experience with the play, Shakespeare as a whole, and the Globe itself.
