Globe Education’s first graduate acting course was created in collaboration with Vladimir Mirodan and the Drama Centre London in 2006 for its one year MA in European Classical Acting. Students spend six weeks at Shakespeare’s Globe prior to a six week residency at the Vaktangov Institute in Moscow. A growing number of drama schools and universities are commissioning bespoke modules for their MA and MFA theatre students . These currently include:
- Drama Centre London: MA European Classical Acting – six week intensive;
- East 15: MA/MFA in Acting (International) – three week intensive;
- University of Exeter: MFA in Staging Shakespeare – two week intensive;
- Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama: MA Classical and Contemporary Text Acting or Directing) – four week intensive.
