Roger Lloyd Pack makes his Globe debut as the Duke of Buckingham in the Globe's all male production of Richard III. Roger will also play Sir Andrew Aguecheek in the company's other original practices production of Twelfth Night.
"I'm enjoying interacting with the audience...casting them as citizens". Roger talks about first previews of Richard III and finally playing to an audience.
"The tech for me was much more than a normal tech". Roger talks about the uniqueness of a Globe tech week and how it is a valuable extension of the rehearsal period; a time for negotiating both costume and space.
"He's described as 'the deep, revolving, witty Buckingham' - so that's a very good clue to his character." Now 4 weeks into rehearsals, Roger discusses how his initial impressions of Buckingham have changed.
