Penelope Beaumont played Leonato in the 2004 production of Much Ado About Nothing in her second season at Shakespeare's Globe. In 2003 she was a member of the Globe's first all-female company; she played Vincentio in The Taming of the Shrew and Lord Stanley in Richard III.
