Penelope Beaumont returned to the Globe to play Paulina in the 2005 production of The Winter's Tale. In 2004 she played Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing and she was a member of the Globe's first all-female company in 2003; she played Vincentio in The Taming of the Shrew and Lord Stanley in Richard III.
