Written by: William Shakespeare
Simon Paisley Day previously played Timon at the Globe in the 2008 production of Timon of Athens. He now returns to play Petruchio in this season's The Taming of the Shrew.
"It really is a sort of rollicking romp...I think we get every bit of humour out of it that Shakespeare would have wanted us to." Simon discusses the play, the theatre, and the audience during performance.
"A mini symphony of attack and humour." Simon describes Pertruchio's first meeting with Kate and further dicusses his key scenes and key relationships in the play.
"He's a bit of a wild one!" Says Simon about Petruchio, as he discusses his initial impressions of the play and his character.
