Created in 1977, the National Theatre is one of Mexico's leading cultural institutions. Under Artistic Director Luis de Tavira, the company stages classics, new Mexican plays and contemporary drama from around the world. This new production of Shakespeare's great dramatisation of madness in the land and mayhem in the pub, is directed by the electrifying young director Hugo Arrevillaga Serrano.

SYNOPSIS

Henry IV is an insecure king with rebellion on all sides. Prince Harry, known as Hal, the heir to the throne, disappoints his father with his drinking in taverns and rowdy companions, including the cowardly but entertaining Sir John Falstaff. When the prince must go to war to defeat his rival Hotspur, he proves himself as a soldier and a leader, and begins to leave his miscreant friends behind.
