Who on earth was Shakespeare? As it turns out, no one really knows!

We don’t know how he became an actor or when he began writing plays, we don’t even know if April 23rd was his actual birthday…

But as he’s one of the most famous writers of all time, maybe we should try and find out?

Join our wonderful storyteller James Askill as he tries to discover who the mysterious Mr William Shakespeare really was.

Suitable for ages 7+
