Would you like the opportunity to have face-to-face commissioning meeting with budget holders looking to commission digital works? On the 24th of November INTERFACE partners including:  Will be visiting Reading on a hunt for emerging talent.

We know time is valuable that is why we make the event free to attend. Successful applicants will be matched with Partner institutions with budget ring-fenced for digital and media arts commissioning in the next twelve months, making every meeting a genuine business opportunity.

Those wishing to participate in Interface 2016 should download and complete the INTERFACE application form and return the form by email before midnight, 10th November.

What happens?

Prior to Interface the cultural partners indicate what areas of work they will be commissioning in the next 12 months. The digital suppliers complete an application indicating their specialisms. The two lists are cross referenced to create a bespoke appointment programme.

Cultural partners and digital suppliers each send one or two delegates. The delegates each have curated meetings, plus access to a main networking space. Partners must meet two criteria. Firstly, they must have commissioning budgets for digital and media work in the next twelve months. Secondly, they must agree to send a senior decision maker and/or budget holder. This means that every Interface meeting is a genuine business opportunity.

The partners and digital suppliers pay nothing to attend. Costs for running the event are covered by Globe Education and sponsorship and financial support within the visited region.

Previous Interface partners have included:

British Film Institute
British Museum
Historic Royal Palaces
Imperial War Museums
London Philharmonic Orchestra
National Theatre
National Theatre of Scotland
Royal Albert Hall
Royal Court Theatre
Royal Opera House
Shakespeare’s Globe
