As You Like It & Julius Caesar

Please note: this event has now passed

In 2017, Rutgers Conservatory presented an all-male As You Like It and an all-female Julius Caesar. Each performance can be enjoyed on its own, or as a part of an overarching story in which the Globe itself plays a role, changing the lives of a group of young American actors, who find themselves and the world they have left behind strangely reflected in the mirror of Shakespeare’s plays.

Rutgers Conservatory at Shakespeare’s Globe is Globe Education’s flagship conservatory training programme.

BFA and MFA Acting majors from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, embark on intensive classical training at the Globe for most of their junior year. These workshop performances are the culmination of the residency and a celebration of their time at the Globe.
