A CONCERT FOR WINTER

The theme of Shakespeare’s Globe’s annual A Concert for Winter in 2012 was ‘Southwark is Home’. It was a festive celebration of the past, present and future of the Southwark community, complete with songs and folk music.

As part of the on-going project we asked as many of our neighbours as possible who live, work or learn in Southwark to participate by sending us photographs of landmarks in the borough that are important in their lives. It might have been a building, a street, a place to meet friends, a cafe, a place of work, anywhere that had special significance.
