Key stage 2
We work in partnership with local schools to deliver inspiring projects at Key Stage 2.
Would you like to use role play to develop your students’ abilities to talk, listen and evaluate?
We can help deliver six practical in-school sessions on the Key Stage 2 literacy curriculum. It also includes an interactive tour and workshop at the Globe and a Continuing Professional Development session at the Globe for teachers and support staff.
Your class works together to identify key points in the play and to ask relevant questions to deepen their understanding of key characters and events. They can then evaluate the best course of action based on the information they receive and offer solutions.
- To develop core, communication, language, drama and expressive arts skills through active participation, play and performance.
- To use Shakespeare’s stories and the Globe Theatre as a stimulus to enhance students spiritual, moral, social, cultural development and understanding of the world.
- To provide teachers with the skills and confidence to lead practical approaches to literacy.
