  • Education/Storytelling1

We are delighted to offer an exciting new programme of Lively Action Storytelling Sessions devised exclusively for KS1 and KS2 pupils. These highly interactive performances will introduce your pupils to the powerful and enduring stories which lie at the heart of some of Shakespeare’s greatest plays.

Lively Action Storytelling Sessions have been created to complement the requirements of the English National Curriculum. They can help your pupils to deepen their understanding of the ways in which they can imagine and recreate stories. Through listening to well-told stories, pupils learn how to tell their own stories, orally and in their writing.

In the spellbinding setting of the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, our Practitioners will excite and engage your pupils with Shakespeare’s worlds. They will have the opportunity to take part in the magical stories of Macbeth, The Tempest, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Winter’s Tale.

Please note that the Playhouse will not be candle-lit for these storytelling sessions.

*£6.50 per pupil - max 120 students per performance and a minimum fee of £169. £12.00 per student includes a tour of the Globe theatre (subject to availability).
