What our visitors say about the Elizabethan Experience:
“What can I say I have received nothing but thanks from our members for such a good outing. The programme ran faultlessly and was really an experience in 16th century living which included the Globe, so there was something for everyone even those who weren't familiar with the Globe itself.”
June Houlton, Ver-Colne U3A, 24th November 2011
“Magic, pure magic! I thought it was going to be an interesting afternoon but our visit to the Globe and its surroundings exceeded all expectations by far. Tour guides were excellent: friendly, knowledgeable and more than willing to answer all the questions fired at them! The best guides I have ever seen in action. Please, PLEASE don't change a thing!”
Jonathan Rogers, Christchurch U3A, 1st November 2011
“We had a wonderful day, what more can I say. I had previously walked past the Globe in 2001 but not gone inside. Wow! it exceeded all my expectations. I could have spent several hours in the museum alone & the dressing of a young lady in Elizabethan clothes was fascinating. The culmination of the visit - walking into the theatre was truly magical, I am certain that Shakespeare would have approved.”
