Live Demonstrations exploring Elizabeth practices, from costume dressing to sword fighting. Take a look.

Dressing demonstrations: 11.00am, 12.00pm, 1.00pm, 2.00pm, 3.00pm, 4.00pm

Printing Press demonstrations: 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30, 4.30pm

Sword-fighting demonstrations: 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm

The Exhibition & Tour is open every day except 24 & 25 December. 

*As we are a working theatre, the Exhibition and /or tours may not be available, especially in the summer months; or an alternative may be offered, due to events, rehearsals, and performances. Please call +44 (0)20 7902 1500 to find out about our opening times.  




There is no need to pre-book for the Exhibition & Tour. Tickets can be bought on the admissions desk on the day, every day.

Admission is also free of charge for Blue Peter badge holders. All badge holders must display their badge upon entry (valid colours are blue, purple, green, orange, gold, silver and the new white sports badge) as well as their badge winner’s card with their name on it. They must also be under the age of 15.

Exhibition and Tour tickets can be purchased as e-vouchers through our online shop.

  • Tickets purchased online are not valid for a specific date and time and do not provide fast track entrance into the Exhibition & Theatre Tour.
  • Only individuals or groups of up to 14 can pre-purchase e-voucher tickets.
  • Once a ticket has been purchased through our online shop, the ticket will be emailed to you within 2 working days.
