We are delighted that Pegasus Chamber Choir has agreed to perform for us once again. Pegasus has been busy over the whole of 2013 with their eclectic schedule of events. As well as continuing their collaboration with world famous ballet dancer, Carlos Acosta at the London Coliseum, Pegasus have appeared at the British Library in London for the opening of an exhibition marking the centenary of the birth of Benjamin Britten. The ensemble sang Britten's Five Flower Songs for 100 guests who viewed the display of the composer's manuscript scores, photographs and recordings. They triumphed internationally over the summer as double prize winners of the prestigious Chamber Choir and Francis Poulenc prizes at the Florilège International Choral Competition in Tours, France at the end of May.
Alongside the beautiful Pegasus, we will have seasonal readings by actors from the 2013 Globe Season and some congregational carols to join is the seasonal concert.
Finally wine and mine pies will be served in the Church.
