A Digital Networking Event for the Cultural Industries

Are you a small to medium sized digital supplier? Would you like the opportunity to have face-to-face commissioning meeting with with some of the UK's top cultural brands

Then apply to take part in INTERFACE; a unique networking event for digital artists, designers and developers. Details for INTERFACE 2017 will be available here once they are confirmed.

INTERFACE 2016 took place in Reading on 24 November at The Concert Hall.

We know time is valuable that is why we make the event free to attend. Successful applicants were matched with Partner institutions with budget ring-fenced for digital commissioning in the next twelve months, making every meeting a genuine opportunity.

What happens?

Prior to INTERFACE the cultural partners indicate what areas of work they will be commissioning in the next 12 months. The digital suppliers complete an application indicating their specialisms. The two lists are cross referenced to create a bespoke appointment programme.

Cultural partners and digital suppliers each send one or two delegates. The delegates each have curated meetings, plus access to a main networking space. Partners must meet two criteria. Firstly, they must have commissioning budgets for digital and media work in the next twelve months. Secondly, they must agree to send a senior decision maker and/or budget holder. This means that every INTERFACE meeting is a genuine business opportunity.

The partners and digital suppliers pay nothing to attend. Costs for running the event are covered by Globe Education and sponsorship and financial support within the visited region.
