hakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a  Building Operations Hard Services Support Officer (Mat Cover)  to join our Building Operations team.

The Building Operations Hard Services Support Office role has oversight of all external maintenance contractors ensuring all periodical compliance checks are completed and that the Health and Safety management processes are followed. 

 The role ensures that Shakespeare’s Globe buildings are appropriately maintained and in good condition and working order; and will assist the Head of Facilities Management in all aspects of the planned preventative maintenance programme, including financial management, raising purchase orders and monthly reporting.  

This role will form an integral part of the Building Operations Emergency Response and 24/7 Call Out Team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a property or facilities management role. They will have the ability to prepare reports and communicate these effectively with others.

We’re looking for someone with good organisational skills, who can work effectively as part of a team but also to their own initiative. They will have demonstrable experience and understanding of health and safety issues in the workplace and a willingness to commit to CPD and training.
