Marketing Officer

Shakespeare’s Globe is looking for a Marketing Officer to join our Marketing Department.


hakespeare’s Globe is currently seeking a creative, collaborative and ambitious Marketing Officer to join our busy Campaigns team, as we continue striving to reach new audiences through our digital-first, insight-driven and customer-focused marketing activities.

We are looking for someone who has some experience at Assistant or Officer level in marketing and/or communications (agency or in-house), or in a role where you need good attention to detail, strong communication and project management skills, and innovative thinking, and you want to work in-house at an exciting venue with a broad output and demanding revenue targets.

This role is permanent and full-time, and we are happy to discuss flexible working. We are currently working to a 60/40 hybrid-working model, with at least 2 days a week in the office at the theatre and 3 days working from home. You will be needed onsite more often at times depending on the demands of a campaign.

The Marketing Officer will lead on the development and implementation of specific campaigns and communications for a range of activities, events, shows and products across all strands of our work including theatre, education, tours and retail.

The successful candidate will have an exemplary sense of organization and time management, a keenness for creative collaboration, a solid appreciation of the full media mix of marketing channels and platforms, with a particular enthusiasm for current and innovative digital technologies, and a confidence to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders and collaborators including senior colleagues, creatives and media agencies.
