Poet and arts educator Jasmine Simms (Queen of the Fairies) will fly directly from the wild forests of southern Germany, to deliver a scenario-based writing workshop loosely based on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Participants must find their way out of a dream state by remembering the place they were in before they fall asleep, using found objects as ‘clues’.

Jasmine Simms is a Foyle Young Poet and frequently collaborates with The Poetry Society. The Foyle Young Poet of the Year Award 2019 is open and is completely free to enter for anyone aged 11-17 years across the world. For information on how to enter please go to foyleyoungpoets.org
