This two hour professional development course for teachers offers a practical toolkit for teaching The Tempest, led by an experienced Globe Education Practitioner.

Aimed at secondary teachers, with a particular focus on Key Stage 5, it will offer exciting techniques to engage with Shakespeare through active and creative approaches in the classroom. Boost your confidence in analysing language, characters, themes and the text in performance.

You will complete your experience by watching Shakespeare’s tumultuous tale of reckoning and redemption in the Globe Theatre itself.

About the production.
Get ready to be shaken by Shakespeare’s most elemental comedy, The Tempest, brought to life by our 2022 Globe Ensemble with direction from Associate Artistic Director Sean Holmes (A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Twelfth Night, Globe).
