This four-day course offers an extended opportunity to explore Shakespeare’s texts on the Globe stage. Work with peers on scenes and speeches using rehearsal tools and exercises to explore the performance space and what it teaches us about Shakespeare’s text.

Whether you are new to working with Shakespeare or have a lot of previous experience, these sessions provide a supportive space to explore, play and connect creatively with peers, guided by our experienced Globe Faculty.

Some sessions will take place on the Globe Stage.

Duration: Four three-hour sessions – with a break in each

Capacity: 12 individuals per session

You cannot book this workshop unless you have registered with The Studio at Shakespeare’s Globe and the ticket must be booked by the individual who will be participating in the workshop.

If you or any of your household are feeling unwell, showing Coronavirus symptoms or have been told to self-isolate, please do not visit us. Instead, please contact us and we can arrange to move your ticket(s) to another date or arrange a refund.

In the event of a change in UK Government guidelines which requires us to cancel an event we will contact you prior to the event date to offer you a credit voucher or refund. There will be no additional cost to you.

You will be sent a pre-visit email one week before the event with details of the texts to be familiar with (they do not need to be memorised). If you have booked within a week of the event, this email will be sent the day after your booking.

We are an open-air theatre and our classes go ahead in all conditions so dress for the weather!

No recording or photography will be permitted throughout the session.
