Romeo and Juliet: GCSE Boost (Hybrid)
Bring your study of Shakespeare’s timeless story of love and violence, Romeo and Juliet, to life in this practical Boost session for ages 14–16. This is a hybrid event – choose to attend in-person at Shakespeare’s Globe or online via Zoom.
For those participating in-person, you’ll start with a peek inside the Globe Theatre and hear about the history of Shakespeare’s London and the theatrical world he created.
Then, for everyone in-person and online, join an interactive workshop led by a highly experienced education practitioner and explore the play’s language, characters and themes using a range of acting techniques and drama activities. You’ll develop key skills and a practical toolkit that you can carry forward into your study and exams.
Please note that these workshops are designed for young people aged 14 – 16 attending independently, either online or in-person.
