Romeo and Juliet to life in this practical interactive online workshop, designed for the over 12s. This session provides a perfect accompaniment to our Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank: Romeo and Juliet film.
This event uses a range of activities and games designed to draw out elements of the play’s language, characters and themes. The session is designed for young people with an interest in Drama or English Literature and is an engaging way to enhance the study of Shakespeare or theatre. No previous experience is required, just a desire to jump in and enjoy exploring one of Shakespeare’s greatest love stories.
Workshops will be led by one of the Globe’s highly experienced practitioners who include actors, teachers and directors.
Please note that these workshops are designed for young adults aged 12+, but tickets must be purchased by someone 18+. It is a condition of sale that an adult must be available within the household for the full running time of the workshop. Price is per household so may include siblings aged 12+ in the same house.

A link with joining instructions will be emailed to you a day before the event. You will need access to a reliable internet connection and be able to join a Zoom meeting.
Participants are invited to tell us about any access requirements during the booking process; this will enable us to be aware of needs in order to make reasonable adjustments and/or adapt content where possible.
These online events are interactive and fun for all, which means that there are opportunities for the Globe practitioner and the participants to engage directly with each other live.
To make sure that everyone is also safe, young people generally choose to attend the online session alone or in sibling groups, but it is a requirement that an adult must be present and available in the household at all times. Please be aware that no recording or photography will be permitted.
