Young Actors (16-19 years) 2022
Spend two weeks working with highly experienced Globe Practitioners to explore your own acting style and develop your skills, with an opportunity to rehearse in our candlelit Sam Wanamaker Playhouse and time on the Globe stage itself.
Receive hands-on instruction from Globe actors to explore Shakespeare in an exciting way through lively workshops and practical activities. Designed for aspiring actors, this course provides an active, creative learning experience to bring Shakespeare to life in a new way.
Each session will involve warm-up games, tips and tricks for getting into character, and having fun with Shakespeare’s language and performance. There will be plenty of opportunities to perform and play scenes, trying out different styles and approaches. This course will involve voice, text and movement sessions with participants working collaboratively with their peers.
Recommended for ages 16–19 years. It culminates with a small sharing of work for family, carers and friends.
