Watch our production of Macbeth for free, now streaming on YouTube, available until UK secondary schools reopen. There is a separate audio-described version of the video also available.

The original performance in the video took place at the Globe Theatre in late February / early March 2020.

For those watching who would benefit from learning resources to accompany this streaming, or just to support general learning of the play Macbeth, this website provides a range of engaging activities for classroom and home.

Deutsche Bank has supported an annual Playing Shakespeare production in the Globe Theatre since 2007.The 90-minute production, created especially for a schools audience, is complemented with free workshops and online activities.

18,000 London and Birmingham state secondary school students were given free tickets to this year’s Macbeth.  33,000 people saw the production before the run was interrupted in March. Over 200,000 students have been given free tickets to see Playing Shakespeare productions at the Globe.
