Darren Raymond co-founded Intermission Youth Theatre in 2008. Since then, he has directed and reworked numerous Shakespeare plays. In his work, Darren challenges the status quo, and his plays delve into the experiences and challenges faced by people from the African and Caribbean diaspora.

Darren has contributed, as an advisor, in many spaces to the development of young people, including the RSC Education Committee and the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance.
