Nell Leyshon

Nell is playwright and novelist.

Her play Comfort Me with Apples won the Evening Standard Award for most promising playwright, and Bedlam was the first play written by a woman to be performed at the Globe. She has written for the National Theatre, RSC, RADA, and Lyric Hammersmith.

Her novel The Colour and Milk is published worldwide.

Nell writes for Radio 3 and 4, and her first radio play, Milk won the Richard Imison Award.

Her most recent play Folk was nominated for an Olivier Award.
