Simon Slater
Simon Slater has composed over 300 original scores for film, TV, theatre, and radio. These include scores for the Royal Shakespeare Company, the BBC, Channel 5, the National Theatre, and Broadway.
Simon received an Olivier Award nomination for his music in Constellations (Royal Court / Duke of York / Friedman Theatre, NY), starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Wilson. In the autumn of 2016, he was invited by the National Theatre to work on Amadeus as musical director and composer of additional music in Peter Shaffer’s iconic play about Mozart and Salieri.

Previous work at the Globe includes Julius Caesar, The Tempest, and, in the Sam Wanamaker, The Winter’s Tale, ’Tis Pity She’s a Whore, and A Broken Heart.
