Can you give me more details about the content of the course?

Young Actors’ Summer School
This course will develop the skills you need when approaching your classical texts for drama school auditions. You will take part in masterclasses with internationally renowned theatre practitioners, and develop your acting skills through working with an experienced director on selected scenes from Shakespeare’s plays in a creative and supportive environment. You will then share your scenes at the end of the week on one of the Globe stages.
Young Academics’ Summer School
This is the perfect course if you are interested in deepening and enriching your understanding of Shakespeare and the unique spaces for which he wrote. It would be the ideal first step if you are looking to extend your interest and understanding of Elizabethan and Jacobean drama.

Do I need to send an audition video for the Young Actors' Summer School?

There is no need to send an audition video. To apply for our Young Actors’ Summer School course, we ask that you fill in an application form once applications are open.
