The Shakespeare's Globe site includes an open air theatre, Exhibition space and Swan at the Globe Bar and Brasserie. The entrance to the Exhibition is accessed via a ramp on Bankside.
Important Notice: during our current refurbishment works, the Swan bar and restaurant are accessible via a lift at Stage Door. The Stage Door is behind two large, heavy iron gates on New Globe Walk. There is an intercom to the right of these gates with which you can contact our visitor services department, who will escort you in the lift to the desired level.
We aim to be welcoming and accessible to all and are continually updating and improving our facilities at Shakespeare's Globe for people with disabilities.
A dedicated Access Information Line operates from 10am-5pm, Monday to Friday, offering advice on specialised services for disabled people at Shakespeare's Globe:
