hakespeare’s Globe welcomes events, from small, intimate gatherings to large-scale corporate hires for up to 450 guests. We accommodate networking, conferences, exhibitions, presentations, product launches, celebrations and more. With an enviable location on London’s Southbank, the Globe is one of the most recognisable and memorable spaces for private hire in London. The Globe Theatre

Throughout the summer season, the Globe is home to multiple productions and performances with audiences up to 1500. The most recognisable and largest of our spaces, the theatre may be hired for filming, photography as well as private hires and celebrations.

Sam Wanamaker Playhouse

One of the only candlelit theatres in Europe, the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse is the perfect setting to host an unforgettable event. The space can host 200 guests for lectures, presentations, and corporate events.

The Education Studios

The Education Studios are located on 1-2 Bear Gardens, SE1 9ED, perfectly situated just around the corner from our theatres. The studios have a range of spaces suitable for smaller events of up to 35 people and can accommodate meetings, workshops and away days. The Perry Studio is the largest of the spaces and can hold 80 people.

Upper Foyer

This semi-private space is perfect for a relaxed drinks reception of up to 60 people. The space can be yours to use exclusively for events or for group visits to performances.

Lecture Theatre and Lower Foyer

Our newly renovated Lecture Theatre can seat up to 120 people and is perfect for smaller, private presentations and lectures.

The Lower Foyer, situated just outside, is available to hire alongside for receptions, as a breakout space or for welcoming guests. Both rooms have step free access.

Tours

Give your attendees a private tour of Shakespeare’s Globe and discover the stories and secrets of our open-air theatre, how the Globe battled to survive plague, fire and political oppression, and how one man’s vision saw it rise again after 400 years.

Historical Demonstrations

Enjoy dynamic demonstrations from our specialists, including costume design and sword fighting. Whether as part of a schedule of activities or a one-off experience, our in-house experts can organise demonstrations specially tailored for your group.

Private Box Hire
