Alfred Enoch

Alfred has recently wrapped period thriller The Critic alongside Ian McKellen, Gemma Arterton, Mark Strong and Lesley Manville from director Anand Tucker (Hilary and Jackie) from a script by Oscar nominee Patrick Marber (Notes on a Scandal), as well as starring in Sky Cinema’s Original film, This Is Christmas opposite Kaya Scodelario and Timothy Spall.

Alfred’s other major film credits include his leading role in the Brazilian dystopian feature Executive Order, football mental health feature Tigers, and the role of ‘Dean Thomas’ in the globally renowned Harry Potter series.

Next up he is starring in TV series THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR, alongside Eleanor Tomlinson and Sam Heughan. Alfred also appeared in two seasons of Apple’s FOUNDATION and was recently seen as the leading role in Season 2 of BBC’s TRUST ME. He played Wes Gibbins opposite Viola Davis’ Annalise Keating on Shonda Rhimes’ hit ABC series, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER. Other TV credits include:, TROY: FALL OF A CITY, SHERLOCK, MOUNT PLEASANT AND BROADCHURCH.

On the stage, Alfred last starred in Shakespeare’s As You Like It from Olivier Award nominated Josie Rourke on the West End at @sohoplace in the role of ‘Orlando.’ Enoch recently played Romeo in a production of Romeo and Juliet at the Globe Theatre in London. Other theatre credits include the West End revival of Red alongside Alfred Molina; the Young Vic and Manchester International Festival production of Tree alongside Sinead Cusack; and Talawa Theatre Company and Manchester Royal Exchange co-production of King Lear. He has also appeared in a number of plays throughout London including Coriolanus, Timon of Athens, Antigone and Happy New.
