Amy Hodge
Amy Hodge is an Olivier-nominated theatre and film director. Her theatre productions include, for Shakespeare’s Globe: Women Beware Women (2020); Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World for Kenny Wax Ltd currently on UK tour; Mr Gum and the Dancing Bear – the musical! at the National Theatre; for Headlong: Mother Courage and Her Children at the Royal Exchange Manchester; Meek on UK tour and Boys Will Be Boys at the Bush; 7-75, at The Place; The Rover for Hampton Court Palace; Clytemnestra, Measure for Measure and A Christmas Carol for The Sherman Theatre; Playing the Game for the Tricycle and Mules at The Young Vic. For the screen, Amy has directed a number of short films for the Guardian, most recently We Begin Again for the National Theatre. Amy Hodge is in pre-production for The Date, funded by BFI/Film London. She is also currently co-creating a TV series for FilmNation. She was Associate Director at Headlong (2015–2018), Studio Associate at the National Theatre (2012–2013) and recipient of the Jerwood Directors’ Award 2008.
