George Fouracres

George is an actor and comedian from the Black Country. He is the third member of the sketch group ‘Daphne’, who were nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer in 2015. In 2019, he performed his debut stand-up hour, ‘Gentlemon’, at the Edinburgh Fringe, which was subsequently recorded for BBC Radio 4 in 2022.

Previous work for Shakespeare’s Globe includes Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing, The Tempest (2022), Twelfth Night, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2021).

Theatre credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Filter Theatre/Lyric Hammersmith); The Diary of a Nobody (Rough Haired Pointer); Scrooge & Marley (Dippermouth).

Television credits include Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared (Channel 4); Spitting Image (Britbox); Semi-Detached (BBC 2); Whiskey Cavalier (ABC); Pls Like Series 2 (BBC Three); Comic Relief (BBC 1), Drunk History Series 3/Series 2 (Tiger Aspect); Raised by Wolves (Channel 4).
