Grace Smart

Grace is an award-winning set and costume designer, who has worked throughout the UK and internationally. Grace’s previous work at Shakespeare’s Globe includes The Merry Wives of Windsor, Much Ado About Nothing, The Winter’s Tale, Hamlet, Metamorphoses, Henry VI and Richard III.
Current theatre credits include Cyrano (RSC); Inside No. 9 (Wyndhams/UK tour); Dracula (Lyric Hammersmith); Last Days (Set) (Royal Opera House Linbury Studio / LA Phil).

Grace was nominated in this year’s UK Theatre Awards for her Design for Spend, Spend, Spend. In 2024 for a WhatsOnStage Award for her costume designs in Cowbois. In 2023, she was awarded an Offie Award for Best Set Design for her design of The Wonderful World of Dissocia. Grace was also the overall winner of the 2015 Linbury Prize.
