Patricia Rodriguez
Patricia is a Performer, Director, Playwright and the Co-Founder of Little Soldier (UK).
Patricia has been connected to the world of theatre for 30 years. During this time, she has built an international career that spans France, the United States, Mexico, Poland, China, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Germany, and, most notably, the United Kingdom. Since 2020, she has combined her work with Little Soldier with a new theatre project based in Asturias, Las Ganas. Patricia trained with renowned teachers such as Philippe Gaulier, Aitor Basauri, John Wright, and Paul Hunter.
In addition to her work with Little Soldier (Nothing Happens (Twice), Derailed, Don Quixote, You & Me) and Las Ganas, she has recently participated in creative processes – as an actress – with the Royal Shakespeare Company (As You Like It), National Theatre (The Threesome), Told by an Idiot (Heads Will Roll, Get Happy), Conde Duque and Theatre Royal (Muckers), Flight of the Scales (No Way Out), and Tucan Riot (Ancestry, in development).
Alongside her acting work, she also directs Spanish theatre companies such as Ibuprofeno in Galicia (Deadpan Karaoke, which won two María Casares Awards in 2023), Teatro del Cuervo (Orsai), Las Ganas Teatro (Las Ganas. El Principio), and Guayominí, with whom she received the 2023 Oh Award for Best Children’s Show for caLORCAlor, and Hamlet, in which she works both as director and actress. Hamlet has recently been awarded with Best Family Show in Almagro 2025 and it is a recommended show by La Red and Camino Escena Norte 2025.
Patricia Rodríguez has taught theatre courses at numerous prestigious institutions, such as Philippe Gaulier’s School (France), Leeds University, and East15 (London), among many others.
