With our third Shakespeare and Race festival about to go online this weekend from 21 – 23 August, we go behind the scenes to see how we turned our candlelit Sam Wanamaker Playhouse into a recording studio to capture and film content as part of a new series of online programming.

Our buildings may have been closed since March due to Coronavirus, but we’ve been creating new ways of sharing our work with you to enjoy from your very own homes. We’ve been collaborating with video production and live streaming company Karma to bring our playhouses to you during this time, allowing people to attend our performances, events, courses and discussions online, wherever they are in the world.
