Christmas at the (Snow) Globe returns this December as a festive film premiere

Transform your home into a winter wonderland with Sandi Toksvig and Jenifer Tokvig’s magical Christmas movie offering for 2020

After sweeping audiences away to a winter wonderland of fairies, toy tin soldiers and identical, long-lost Shakespearean twins in our Globe Theatre last Christmas, Christmas at the (Snow) Globe returns this December to get us all well and truly into the festive spirit.

Forget the latest Netflix offering – in a first for us at the Globe, Christmas at the (Snow) Globe will this year be created specially as a festive film, taking audiences around the world on a magical journey in the Globe Theatre, all from your very own homes.

Christmas at the (Snow) Globe returns this December as a festive film premiere.

Get your holiday season celebrations started on Monday 21 December 2020 with Sandi Toksvig, Jenifer Toksvig and their band of merry elves as they bring a huge dose of laughter, carols and the joy of Christmas. In our festive film offering, a child stands in our wooden ‘O’ waiting for the show to begin but something’s not quite right. The theatre is bare. Where are the players, the audience and stewards? Fear not – the Snow Globe gang are not going to let anything stop them from giving this child the gift of theatre, especially at Christmastime!

This year has been difficult and isolating for many due to the pandemic, that’s why, to share the Christmas cheer with as many people as possible, we’re offering all UK care homes and children’s hospitals and wards the opportunity to watch Christmas at the (Snow) Globe for free. Register by 17 December to receive your free access link in time for Christmas.

You can also spread the festive cheer by sending Christmas at the (Snow) Globe as a gift – treat your loved ones to a digital ticket to our festive film premiere, and we’ll deliver it straight to their inbox on the day of your choice this December.

But that’s not all, oh no! Not only is Christmas at the (Snow) Globe returning to our wooden ‘O’, we’ll also be counting down the days to our festive film premiere and Christmas itself with our very own advent calendar full of daily delights to see us through the last of the winter darkness and wait for the coming of the spring light and new year.

Stay tuned for Globe Advent from 1 December…
