We aim to ensure everyone’s visit to Shakespeare’s Globe is welcoming, safe, and enjoyable.

The Globe Foyer is open from 9.30am to 10.30pm and is free to enter to enjoy our café, shop, and the Swan Bar & Restaurant. You are welcome to use our toilets and baby changing facilities.

We take your health and safety extremely seriously, so please tell us if you are concerned about anything. Please report anything unusual to a member of staff.

We ask you to be kind, patient, and respectful. We will not tolerate abuse, harassment or violence towards anyone at the Globe.

Please do not fundraise, demonstrate, distribute or display campaigning material without prior written agreement. Items for use in fundraising, campaigns or demonstrations (such as posters and banners) may not be brought onto the Globe site. We ask that visitors are dressed in a manner that is not intended to cause offence or displays threatening, or abusive language.

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the Globe site, including on the Piazza outside the Globe Theatre.

The management reserves the right to refuse admission, or remove you from the theatre or premises, we may also conduct security searches. Any restricted items will be removed upon bag checks, recorded, kept safe and returned at the end of your visit.

Filming & Photography

Filming and photography are not allowed without prior permission. For shows and Guided Tours please ask a Volunteer, Tour Guide, or member of staff for advice.
