Telling Tales with Terry Deary
Join Terry Deary, best-selling author of 350 children’s books as he introduces his 12-book Terrible True Tales series. Each book has four short stories that re-tell true historical incidents as exciting fiction.
The books explore 12 eras of history and Terry will be selecting the ghastliest and ghostliest of the stories from across the ages to re-tell on Halloween, including Shakespeare’s Macbeth, all in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.
Spooks, songs and family fun for ages 7 to 97 as part of our Telling Tales programme of events.
