Return to the enchanting world of the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize-winning Greenwild series with Pari Thomson, as she introduces her thrilling new stand-alone adventure, The Frozen King. Part of our family event series Telling Tales.

Set ten years after the Greenwild series, new heroine Annika journeys to the Utter North, a land of towering ice cliffs, frozen seas, and powerful ice magic, to try to save the entire magical world.

In this interactive event, Pari talks about the Greenwild series (Greenwild: The World Behind The Door, Greenwild: The City Beyond the Sea and Greenwild: The Forest in the Sky) setting up its magical world and the journey so far. She then delves into the world of The Frozen King.

Join us for a reading from this new book and hear all about Pari’s inspirations. Then there’s a chance to get creative yourself with a live writing task, plus have the opportunity to ask your questions in a Q&A.
