PATRON MEMBERSHIP
Our Patrons play a vital role in the work we do
Patron Membership is one of the most impactful ways you can support our work at Shakespeare’s Globe. From helping make our performances possible to supporting our educational outreach which introduces Shakespeare to the next generation, our community of First Folio, Printer’s, Illustrator’s and Scribe’s Circle Patrons play a very special role in everything we do.
As a charity of education and performance that receives no regular government funding, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to help us make Shakespeare accessible for all. In 2025 our supporters helped us:
Provide 117 fully-funded bursaries to students and over 3,600 hours of free engagement
Work with schools from 51 countries, with over 100,000 students visiting the Globe
Host 75 assisted public performances including BSL interpreted and captioned performances
Globe Youth Theatre students performing c. Pete Le May
A school workshop in the Globe Theatre c. Cesare De Giglio
Antony and Cleopatra at the Globe Theatre in 2024 c. Ellie Kurttz
Our Patron Membership levels reflect the craftsmanship behind Shakespeare’s First Folio, arguably one of the most important pieces of literature in the English Language.
From the diligent scribes who first put pen to paper, up to the final, acclaimed First Folio itself, browse the four levels below, join online, and become an important part of the Shakespeare’s Globe journey.
To thank you for your support, you will receive the highest level of access to our productions, creatives and research, including first access to tickets with Advanced Priority Booking, access to sold out shows and personalised booking with a dedicated Patrons Manager.
