Join this Continuing Professional Development session and equip yourself with tools and an in-depth understanding of Shakespeare’s vicious comedy, The Taming of the Shrew, to enhance your teaching in the classroom. This is an in-person event hosted on-site at Shakespeare’s Globe.

Aimed at secondary teachers, with a particular focus on Key Stage 5, the session will demonstrate how to use practical, rehearsal room techniques to enliven and deepen your students’ understanding of the play’s characters, context, themes and imagery, and develop their critical thinking skills.

This CPD is production-specific, highlighting themes and concepts pertinent to our Summer 2024 production of The Taming of the Shrew.

  • A tour of the Globe Theatre
  • A seated ticket to the evening performance of The Taming of the Shrew and complimentary programme
