Join illustrator and picture-book creator Mariajo Ilustrajo and explore storytelling through drawing in this creative workshop. Part of our family event series Telling Tales.

Mariajo will share her journey, from a child who loved to draw, to life as an award-winning illustrator, before reading from her brand-new book Unexpected Guests. Mariajo will then lead an interactive workshop session, where you’ll create your own Mouse Land, including a Mouse Cinema and a Mouse Swimming Pool, before drawing your very own mouse.

You’ll have an opportunity to ask Mariajo your questions in a Q&A. There will also be an opportunity to purchase books and have yours signed after the event.
