The Globe Talks: A Global Mutirão with COP30
Join us in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse for an enlivening event to mark the incoming COP30 Brazilian Presidency and hear about the inspiring vision for a Global Mutirão. Part of London Climate Action Week.
The concept of Mutirão – when communities come together to work toward a shared goal – has deep roots in Indigenous Brazilian traditions. Whether harvesting, building, or simply supporting one another, this cooperative model continues to inform Brazilian culture today.
Drawing on this vital framework, the incoming COP30 Presidency will present the idea of a modern Global Mutirão – a worldwide mobilisation against climate change.
Be part of this energising opportunity to learn more about the Global Mutirão, connect with networks of cooperation, and share perspectives and initiatives that help shape a truly inclusive climate movement.
This event is part of The Globe Talks, a series of essential conversations exploring the work we do in relation to the world we live in.
