Hamlet: Family Workshop 9 – 12 years
Step into the intriguing story of Shakespeare’s famous tragedy, Hamlet, together in this fun and practical Family Workshop. Designed for children aged 9–12 and their grown-ups.
Start your day with a peek inside our wooden ‘O’ to hear about the history of Shakespeare’s London and the theatrical world he created.
You’ll then visit one of our rehearsal rooms to take part in an interactive workshop for the whole family. Using a range of activities and games designed to draw out elements of the play’s language, characters and themes, you’ll tease out fresh ideas and inspiration.
Workshops will be led by one of the Globe’s highly experienced practitioners who include actors, teachers and directors.
You can enjoy this as an experience on its own or alongside our Hamlet: Family Storytelling. Tickets sold separately.
These workshops are designed for children aged 9–12 and their grown-ups. All under 18s must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult throughout the workshop, and we encourage everyone to take part together to make the most of the experience.
